Germantown Campus
Founded in 1959, St. George's Germantown is a coeducational school
of excellence for students in prekindergarten through fifth grade.
Supported by an exceptionally warm atmosphere, students at St. George's
Germantown are challenged academically and encouraged to discover their
God-given gifts and talents. The curriculum provides a firm foundation
in all academic areas, preparing students for middle school, high
school, and beyond
Instruction is based upon the principle that teachers must be
cognizant of the "whole child." Supplementing and supporting the basic
academic program are a variety of specialty classes that enrich
students' knowledge and understanding: art, music, physical fitness,
drama, technology, foreign language, library science, and religion.
Students develop spiritually by attending chapel regularly, and the
lessons of character development are woven throughout the curriculum.
Nurturing teachers ensure an environment that allows students to
venture out, try new things, and gain confidence in their skills.
Partnerships between home and school are valued. Teachers share a
belief that education should involve participation and fun, and that
such an approach can establish a lifelong love of learning.
