SANDER SNOWDEN '84 has moved back to Memphis and lives on Harbor Town. He recently deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and is currently Executive Officer of 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines.

WES MCCLUNEY '88 ownes TAW Sports (New Balance Atlanta) with four locations in the metro Atlanta area. Wes welcomes SGIS alumni to visit his store in Birmingham just south of Summit Mall. Wes and wife Kim are proud parents of Anna Wells, born Feb. 6, 2010 and 3-1/2 yr. old son, Hill.

RICHARD MCCLUNEY '90 completed his anesthesiology residency and obstetric and gynecologic anesthesiology fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in May '11. He and wife Trish recently moved to Tupelo after he joined the practice of Tupelo Anesthesia Group. They have 2 sons, Tristian age 3 and Richard, Jr. age 5 (shown here with cousin Hill). Dr. McCluney, an avid artist, attributes much of his desire to become a doctor from the outstanding guidance and accolades he received in art at St. George's.
JOHN RUSSELL '90 and wife Valerie welcomed baby Alec Wood Russell into the world on September 15, 2011.

JONATHAN MCALISTER '07 has graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Risk Management, Insurance, and Financial Planning. He is currently working as a financial advisor at Memphis Mid-South Financial Group and will start studying for the CFP in September 2012.

WILSON TAYLOR '07 is now teaching English at St. George's Independent School. He is engaged to be married in July '12.
CLASS OF 2008
MEGAN BLACKLOCK '08 is in her final year studying psychology at Northumbria University in England. She is the Annual Events Co-ordinator for Raise and Give at her university as well as a couse rep and project leader for a fast friends event for people with disabilities.
LAURENCE BOWERS '08, a senior at the University of Missouri, is the recipient of the prestigious Mizzou '39 award (Feb. '12). The Alumni Association Student Board presents this award to seniors who have displayed outstanding service to the community and university, academic achievement, and leadership. Laurence is recovering from a season-ending ACL injury, but will have an opportunity to play next year as he finished his master's degree in psychology or health education. He hopes to play for the NBA after graduation.
Isolyn Duncan '08 will marry Jairus Daniel on January 14, 2012.
DANIELLE DEVOTO '08 graduated from TCU and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force on May 11, 2012.

DREW SCHNEIDER '10 has been selected an Arts and Sciences "Outstanding Sophomore" for 2011-2012 by the Academic Committee of the College of Arts and Sciences Leadership Board of the University of Alabama.
