Artistic Acolades:
Six young artists will represent St. George's in the Mid-South Scholastic Art Exhibition. This juried event, presented by the Brooks Museum League and the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, honors exemplary art by students in grades seven through twelve, recognizing their outstanding achievements in a competitive annual exhibition. St. George’s is proud to announce the following students who received honorable mention: Dani Cafferty (drawing); Taylor Owens (painting); Pearson Robbins (painting); Dagny Vaughn (sculpture, drawing, and painting). Awarded a silver key and honorable mention was Maddie Skudder (2 photographs). Alexis Harshbarger received the gold art portfolio and honorable mention (3 drawings). Gold and Silver key winners will have their art on exhibit at Brooks Museum from January 26 through February 17, 2013.
